This Month, our Word of the Month is Good Manners, and we’ve already seen some great examples of students putting this into practice 👏

One of our students recently showed excellent confidence and respect by using their voice to defend themselves at school, rather than reacting physically. This is a great example of how martial arts isn’t just about techniques it’s about self-control, communication, and making the right choices.

In class, we’ll continue talking about:• Speaking up confidently• Showing respect to others• Making positive decisions on and off the mat

We encourage parents to keep observing these behaviours at home and celebrating them with your children 💪

A few weeks ago, Aliza was finding her hook kick really challenging. Instead of giving up, she kept practicing, listening, and pushing herself every class. 👊

Chi Combat System

We’re incredibly proud to shine a light on one of our young martial artists — Lawin, who started training with us just over a year and a half ago.

From his first class to now, Lawin has shown incredible focus, consistency, and a true love for learning. His padwork skills have become outstanding for his age — with sharp combinations, fast reactions, and great timing!

But that’s not all…

💡 Lawin has also earned over 10 life skill badges — from Respect and Focus to Teamwork and Leadership. These are more than just badges — they’re reflections of the mindset he brings to class and to life.

We’re so proud of how far he’s come — and even more excited about where he’s going.
